During my creative internship with Sum.Place, I contributed to two NHS commissions: Berwick Community Hospital and Nottingham University Hospitals’ National Rehabilitation Centre. I helped fabricate sculptural elements, including recycled NHS plastic fish and oak leaves, and pewter-cast acorns, using an arbour plastic presser. Both projects were collaborative, involving staff and community participants, and resulted in suspended sculptures celebrating resilience, growth, and local narratives in healthcare spaces.
